Second prize in the international SARP competition
The main idea of the project was to create a unique architectural and park ensemble dedicated to musicians and their listeners. The main building with the main concert hall and a large rehearsal room was located in the depths of the plot, in the place postulated by the local plan.
Other functions are located in the surrounding buildings. Thanks to this assumption, it was possible to preserve the greatest value of this area, which is a magnificent historic park connecting its entire length with the neighboring Park im. Prague Region of the National Army. In addition, the main volume of the building obscures the chaotic building located north of the plot. Both rooms are located in the quietest place of the investment area.
The foyer is open with large glazing on the park. The main ryzalit foyer is located on the axis of the palace foundation. Between the surrounding buildings and the block of the concert hall, intimate squares filled with existing greenery were shaped. The main entrance to the concert halls is located in the corner of the rigalitu foyer in accordance with the direction of the influx of guests from public transport and parking stops.
